This is a plug site with a LotR theme. But how often are there actually LotR sites plugged there? Never! Except for the times I put my site up.

It looks like a site where people put up buttons leading to their different sites...I tried it, but it didn't work. I'm not good with buttons, sadly.

But look what I found on my Phantom of the Opera site? Buttons! ;D I can't get them to show up, but maybe FrodoFan can help?

Er... I tried to modify your post Mírwen, but I can't seem to get it to work. I have somewhere to go right now so I have to rush, but maybe you can get it from there. I'm wondering if it could be because that on image is bmp? I'm not certain. Proboards should just allow HTML instead of these silly bracket codes...

Oh yes, I can barely do html, and so brackets are beyond my power. I think the problem does lie with the bmp. It shows up fine on the proboards site I found them on though....but when I copied the codes from the 'modify headers/footers' section in the admin area, it wouldn't show up on here. Tis quite mysterious....hmmm.....

Yeah, I think the bmp is part of the problem. I got one to work though!!! :D Check it out and then you'll know how.

Hey I got the Phantom one to show up! Of course, when you click it it leads to En-Arda....not sure how that happened...

EDIT: Ha. I fixed it. I took the html out of the enarda code, and I guess that stopped affecting it. Hurray? lol!

Yes. En-Arda is a stubborn little site. It's stubbornly survived barely through all these years...I don't think it knows we're trying to help it, and is being stubborn about the buttons.

Alright, I finally made a button for my forum! It's for home schooled teens and college students who follow[ed] the Charlotte Mason method of education with Ambleside Online. It's two years old, and still small, but very active. I don't know if you still do buttons here, but here it is anyhow. ;)

What is the Charlotte Mason method? I've never heard of that. I was homeschooled all my life. I didn't go to college though. I'm planning to open an animal sanctuary in a few years. :)
