Elemere smiled and started after her. This was going to be a lot of fun, he thought. He looked back at Ithil just standing there. He tossed her a smile and caught up to Delira.

OOC: This will make a good map for some reference, images.panprstenov.com/map-of-rhovanion.jpgBIC: Ithil gently kicked the sides of her horse, galloping out into the open. She could not help but let her laugh echo out across the plain. She rode and rode. Night seemed to fall too soon, but time always seems to go faster when one is happy. The sun was setting and her horse was tired. She pulled to a halt, looking out across the horizon. The sky was like a great oil painting - almost unreal. Everything was a lovely warm shade. "I suppose we should set up a camp here," She sighed, dismounting. The horse neighed as if in agreement and Ithil smiled. "We could continue this way and reach the Anduin river."

ooc:Thanks that does help.
bic: Delira looked at her companions and dismounted skillfully. "Yes, but we are going up river where ther is a bridge. I was thinking that we could head over to our kin in Rivendell. What do you think?" She brought out the speacial elven bread and distributed it.

"Yes," said Ithil with a nod. "Rivendell, would be wonderful." She unfolded a small map which she'd kept in her coat and examined it. "I suppose the easiest would be to follow the Anduin up to Old Forest road. Then, at least, we only have to cross one river. We'd almost have a straight road from there to Imladris."

"I agree." Delira said looking over Ithil's shoulder at the map. Delira looked at Elemere questioningly.

Elemere saw Delira's look and piped in his agreement. He couldn't say he didn't want to go. Rivendell did not hold anything good for Elemere. He could still hear his mother crying, could still feel her arms holding him tight. He blinked back tears and memories he didn't want to think about. He walked over to his horse and began unsaddling him and rubbing him down for the night.

"I guess that is a yes," Ithil said, confused. She wondered whether or not this trip would prove ill, but she ignored the thought and helped set up the camp for the night.

Delira shrugged and followed suit. She caught something in Elemere's gaze but couldn't define it. Was it anger or fear? She couldn't tell. She decided to ask him later.

Elemere was standing by a tree when he felt someone behind him. "What do you want?" His words were met by silence. He turned to the person behind him.

Delira searched his face before answering. "Why don't you want to go to Rivendell? When I mentioned it your eyes hardened and relaxed so fast I barely caught it."

He turned back to the water. "Some things are better left unsaid,' Was all that he said.

"Somethings aren't," She countered. Please tell me. It might help if you talk about it."

"Or could not. Why do you care?"He faced her again. His hard eyes bore into her.

"I care because we're companions. And I hate that your hurting." She sighed "When your ready to share I'll be around." Delira turned and walked away.

"I heard voices," said Ithil who was now between them. The chirping of some late-night insect was the only response. "Tension in a fellowship is not a good omen."
