Yeah? Why don't you go for it. I want to do mine black with green streaks and hopefully I will soon. I think it's possible (purity). Just hard. But I see what you're saying. I miss being little and naïve.

You should do it again. I love black hair dye (have a box of it sitting right here). It seems to accent the pupils and lashes and gives people a sharper look. I guess it doesn't look good on everyone though.
Indeed. Just don't try to keep acting young. It's okay to miss it as long as you're not still trying to live it.

OK, real stories that you lived: When I was in my late teens and early twenties we were into white water rafting, and my group of friends went to the New River in West Virginia on numerous guided tours. Rafting is potentially dangerous, with one or two situations in particular capable of killing you. One of these is getting caught in a hydraulic, which is water flowing over a rock then coming back over itself in a lethal down flow pattern, capable of trapping the rafter in a flow of water that holds them under, usually resulting in drowning. I once took a trip to another location where we took rafts that didn't have guides, and when we were down the river a ways the raft tipped over and I was thrown in the water. I ended up in a strong hydraulic, and remember distinctly the sensation of lying on my back underwater with the downflow pushing down on my chest and the (lifegiving) air and sun about 5 feet above me. I remember praying a quick prayer to be saved from the situation and without knowing how it happened I ended up back on the surface and flowing once again with the current down stream. After rejoining my friends back in the raft and completing the run, I later found out that the same spot where I had been trapped had taken at least 3 other rafters over the last couple of years. Call it a miracle (I do) or dumb luck, but here I am to tell the story. - M

I'd call it a miracle. I think that's amazing!
I don't think there's really anything like that that has happened to me. My instincts are always right though. But there have been so many times when I disregard them and end up getting into trouble. But I honestly can't think of a time when they were ever wrong.
