I want to be a rock star. I'm saving up for an electric guitar.

Awesome!
I'm interested in becoming a pharmacist. (guess that means lots of science courses for me)

I'm interested in being a Doctor/Medic. I would like to join the military (preferably Special Forces) as a Medic, but I might just skip that and go straight to hospital doctoring.

That's pretty cool, FrodoFan. I'm assuming you know how to play it?

I want to be an actress/ novelist (thanks, Tolkien!)/ nature conservationist. My parents think I should continue my education, but I want to act ... and have a sense of adventure ...

Ha ha. That's funny (looking back on that old post of mine). I went through a short phase of wanting to be a rock star... What I really want to do now (and have pretty much all my life minus a few silly phases) is have an animal sanctuary. You can always act and continue your education. I think it's good to start out in plays if you want to go into movies. Movies are easier, so if you you're comfortable on stage it will be really easy in front of a camera. Have you been auditioning for a lot of things?

I'm still in high school, Frodofan. But so far I've been getting leads in the plays staged at the school ... Yes, I'm comfortable on stage; I hope I'll be able to try movies later in life. Education - yes, I intend to finish my university before I begin acting, but my parents want me to get a PhD, and join the UN, and other things .... *sigh*

Congrats on the lead roles. Well, you have to follow your heart you know! I hope you make it. Maybe one day you'll get to be in a movie with Orlando Bloom or someone.

Hmmm....I want to be an Opera singer. Well, I sort of already am, i've done chorus roles, but I want to sing a lead! I want to sing lead roles professionally at different opera houses. Yup. And publish my fantasy series. ;D Right now I'm a street musician ;D
Wow Nimrodel, i've only gotten a lead role once in a play, and it was really fun! Actually, my dad's a television producer, and i've done a lot of small camera acting for commercials and old tv series and stuff, and it's waaaay easier being on stage for me. When i'm on stage I can get into the story much better. When i'm doing the same thing over and over again with a camera in my face, it's hard for me to stay focused and act. I haven't done that much tv stuff recently (my dad's tv series' he does are usually talk shows and things you don't need actors for, and he hates using his 'connections', to get me work,) so acting isn't my main thing. But it's cool to see yourself on tv sometimes. Gosh, I would LOVE to get more work though and do movies. We'll see, lol!

Hope you do get leads in the singing roles!! I'll be cheering for you!! I haven't done much in front of a camera but leads in plays are great. You have to get through the whole play; you have to flow with it; it just carries you away. It's like you're actually that character; it's a great feeling. Doing things over and over again would be a little frustrating. ... Maybe we'll get to be in a movie together one day, Mirwen! lol
