I was jus wondering how many books of Tolkien's do you own/have read? And is there anyone else besides me who is trying to collect all of the books or at least read them all? That is one of my goals. BTW: Tis good to be back!  -Hanna |

I have the "The Lord of the Rings" one volume edition with index and appendices edited by Harper Collins and also "The hobbit" by the same publishing house and also "The Map of Tolkien's Beleriand and the Lands to the North" from the same publishing house. I also own "The Silmarillion" from the "Ballantine Books" publishing house.
I would like very much to get everything Tolkien and his son have written, but I am very stubborn about getting them in English, whereas in the bookstores in my city I can only find Romanian translations. These books that I have I bought while I was in holiday in Istanbul... And I bought them from a very expensive bookstore that demanded pay in pounds sterling. Therefore it will be some time before I will be able to buy some more books. But still I can hope...

I usually use my dad's books. he has a lot of them, and he is very happy that I follow him in the whole tolkien-obsession thing.

I have The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings, Tolkien: A Biography by Humphry Carpenter, The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien, Book Of Lost Tales Part 1, And Unfinished Tales.
I am going to look into Tolkien's translations (like Pearl) too.

hey guys,am new here!
i like learnin so much and lord of the ring is so gr8...i like english and if i want to improve it i have to learn more but here in my country or at least in my city i don't find books that interests me the most...anyway am doin" my best to be good...
