What did everyone think of it?

There were all these articles going around for a week about Jackson not doing the hobbit and other directors being considered. Now it looks like he's back to doing it.

I think it might have just been for publicity.

Some people were saying he couldn't get the rights to it for some reason... that there was some issue about it 'belonging' to someone else.
