It has been far far far too long since I last gave an update!
I have been updating the site fairly regularly now. The challenges have been having regular rounds with regular entries and regular winners. I've also managed to update some of the other sections. I even added a new game.
The forum, however, has been a pretty dead. Still, we get several hits a day, just no one has been posting. I encourage you to start new topics and to invite others. I will try to do so myself and I really hope that this summer will be a really good summer for The Free Peoples Forum!
I will be looking into forum clans. I think that may be a possibility for this forum and could be fun. We will see.
If we can ever get the forum going again, the members awards can open up again as well.
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to reply to this.

Wow. It seems like ages since I have last posted here.
Just wanted to say that the layout is lovely FRODOFAN!

Unfortunately, you're the only person to have really responded about that. Maybe in time though...
I hope you'll pop in again sometime. I'm glad you like the layout. I'm actually considering doing something else though. I have some really different ideas to try out.

Hey Elenriel, I love your sig! Gosh, I miss this place. I feel so guilty, you were working your butt off to keep this board alive, and I just saw the emails and never responded to them. I don't even have an excuse, sadly. Just that LOTR wasn't at the top of my fanlist anymore.  I converted my fanfiction into original fiction, and that was the only thing keeping me passionate about it. One by one, my friends all moved on. All but me. Even Yavanna from En-Arda. But now Narnia is out and running (totally in the same spectrum), and more importantly, they are FINALLY making the hobbit. There should be a big burst of activity once that first teaser trailer comes out. Mark me words. |

Hm, does this place have a banner or button that I can put up places? I'm sure this forum'll get more users if I post something up on a LiveJournal LOTR community, or a facebook group, etc. Same with En-Arda.

Ha ha. Well that's not saying much.  Oh, I'd be so greatful if you did. There are a lot of codes for the main site in the linkage section which you can use to link here if you like. I will try to make up some specifically for the forum though. Good idea.  |
