lotr assignment for school

I made this last year, but I thought it would be nice to show it
it was for the subject illustrative art and we had to make something what had to do with love and a film
so off course I wanted to make something with lord of the rings ;D
in the middle are Arwen and Aragorn, and on the left and the right the difficulties about their love, Elrond who doesn't want to lose Arwen and Eowyn who is in love with Aragorn
I also wanted to put the Evenstar in it, so I bought it (I wanted it earlier and now it was a good time to buy it ) and made a copy of it as well as possible

Wow. That is REALLY cool. Do you have it on display in your house?


Is that wood burning at hte bottom? I really like the old paper with the elven on it.

That is really pretty.

I also really like the evenstar you made. Do you have a closer picture of it?

I once made the evenstar out of wire and beads. I have it somewhere in an old desk. I should get it out and take a picture. I think yours looks better though.

yes it stands in my bedroom, together with my other lotr stuff
what do you mean with the burned wood? the elvish letters on the outside? I first wrote on it with a pencil and then pressed on it with a nail
I can try to make a better pic of the evenstar, but I can't open the box anymore, I'm afraid that I'm throwing everything through each other when I do that
but I'll find a way ;D

I would really like to see your evenstar! why did you made it? just for fun?

haha I was trying to take photo's when I was remind of the picture that I already made for the report for school

the lowest layer is made of clay, after that I painted it grey, above it is iron wire, on it I stuck a bead in the shape of a flower that was also painted gray, and then once again a swarovski bead on it

Your evenstar is so pretty! I bet you could seel those on Etsy or something. Really cool! I will try to go and find mine and then post a picture of it. I think I originally started making it because I thought I might be Arwen for Halloween. I also actually made that sort of belt pendant out of clay that. I painted that with silver nail polish.

WOW THIS IS SOOOOO COOL!!!! I especially love the Evenstar, the Anírion lyrics, and of course, the pictures of Elrond, heehee!

I always wanted an evenstar pendant, but somehow I never got around to getting one. I have a Pirates of the Caribbean pirate medallion though. And a 'one ring' on a chain. The ring is from my 'Lord of the Rings Monopoly' game.

my cousin had once bought a lotr card game, but we still didn't took the time to look at the rules and play it

Haha, I have a lotr card game...I don't play it though. I just take the cards with the characters I like and put them on display in my room, lol!
