Ok, this is going to be a wee bit different than the book or movie. Hopefully FrodoFan wont mind if I type my description up a bit different.
Almárëa..Ah, if one were to look up her they think her as a queen of a land. Of course, such beauty comes from her Elven traits. Almárëa was an Elf from Mirkwood. One of King Thranduil's most trusted archer and fighter. Ever since she was young she had been trained by the King himself. Thus, her archery and fighting skills were at top notch.
Almárëa was now twenty years of age(In human years that is). She had been part of the Royal Mirkwood Archery ever since she was nine. When fighting, she bore the armory of the Mirkwood Elves. Her helment was usually different than the others, but she minded not of it. When not fighting, she usually bore a gown of white that was pure white at top, but slowly fadded to a dark evergreen at the bottom. She usually had on a silver cloak and a tiarra that was given to her by the King.
Her appreance was a grand one at that; long brown hair that fell to her midback and was a light maple color; her eyes were a deep sky blue. Her skin was fare and tan. The color of her lips and cheeks were of the lucious rose red petals. Upon her right hand was a ring made from fine crystaline orbs in the shape of a butterfly. She stood about 5'6, and her weapons consists of a longbow of Lothlorien, a quiver full of Mikrwood arrows, twin white blade with Elf inscriptions upon it, and a wicked curved dagger that had a black blade with silver engravings, and a gold handle.
Like said before, her past was mostly training with the King ever since she was young. Lord Thranduil had become like a second father to her. When she had travled out of Mirkwood to go and meet other in Lothlorien, she had met Haldir..An Elf she would never, ever forget. She was young at age when she met him; and he was young as well. he was brave and stong, even for a lad. Though, when word got 'round that Sauron had conjured up an army that himself and his orcs were in, she had to be split appart from Haldir and go straight back to Mirkwood.
Almárëa had a personality that one would always wish to see in others. Caring, kind, and willing to help out on anything. When fighting, she became dead serious and fought with much hope and no despair. She had always looked at things in a positive way, for example; If one were to look at a goblet that was filled with water to the halfway mark, she would think it as half full and not half empty.
She usually brought back hope to many hearts upon battlefields. Alas, her days of real fighting have just begun, for the fellowship of the ring was about to be formed, and she wanted to be apart of it to help young Frodo Baggins upon his journey to Mordor.
Almárëa had traveled with the Prince of Mirkwood, Legolas Thranduilion, son of lord Thranduil, to Rivendell to answer Lord Elrond's call. What they would find out there was to be figured out soon for they had now reached the gates of the old Elven city. Both elves dismounted their horses and looked about; wandering what was to come of this world.
Would they make new allies, or, make allies who they thought where their trusted friends? That was only for time to tell. For now, the two awaited for the others to ride to Rivendell to speak in the counsel of Elrond.
Almárëa stood in silence near Legolas. The Elves looked forth to the small flowing streams that were before them. Almárëa seemed troubled, but, she always seemed to be. Legolas shifted his blue eyes to look upon her.
"You seem as if one is about to come out and scare you, but you just don't know when or if it will happen." He whispered softly. He kept his gaze to her, watching as she shifted a bit before looking at him with her own eyes. "You miss him, don't you?" He asked, turning his gaze away to the waters again.
"Miss who? Haldir?" Almárëa looked over at Legolas, her voice soft and smooth; like silk. She watched as Legolas gave a small nod of his head to her question; she looked away. "Aye..I do. I haven't seen him since the first war of Sauron...It was just too long ago. Being an Archer of Mirkwood I can nay leave my post at all until night; by then I am tired and am in need of rest.." She sighed.
"Do nay worry, I assure you that you will see him again." Legolas looked over at her, giving her an encouraging smile. He gently out an arm around her. To him, Almárëa was just a younger sister. At first; when she came to Mirkwood; he had fallen for her. Through the years he had gotten close to her and had thought of her more as his sister than a lover. He stood still as Almárëa rested her head against his shoulder; both looking to the waters in silence.
