OOC: Hey, nice to see you again!
BIC: Ithil nodded with a smile, slinging her bow back over her shoulder. "Adventure is calling us," she said smoothly, looking out over the plains. The grass was dancing in the breeze. The horizon was beckoning.

OOC: It has been too long! Sorry to hear that about Brego, but so good t see you again!
BIC: Ithil nodded and swun her bow on her shoulder, approaching her horse and gracefully mounting it. She tugged on the reigns and whispered into its ear. In a moment she was riding towards the horizon.

The day seemed to pass them by quickly and before they knew it they were heading west as the sun set behind them. "We might reach Rivendell in three days if we press hard," Ithil said, her eyes scanning the horizon. "Shall we rest here tonight or ride on through the night?"

"We should probably rest here. Our mounts need to rest, especially if we plan to ride hard for the next three day." Delira said dismounting.

Ithil dimounted and patted her horse as she looked around for a good spot to sit. She chose a cozy spot beneath a single old tree. Night was falling and she gathered up some small branches around her to build a fire. "Delira, what do you want out of life?"

Delira stopped what she was doing to look at Ithil. She thought for a moment before answering. "Why do you ask?" To be honest Delira wasn't sure what she wanted, it was the main reason she was aways on the move.

"I suppose, because I am not sure myself. But I think there must be something beyond those hills," she gestured. Her eyes filled with a million thoughts. "I have heard talk of the end of Middle-earth and, of course, we all know of Valinor. Do you suppose that that is our fate, Delira?"

( Please could I join? You need more characters [hehe] and this sounds really interesting. Plus I've posted my 'roleplay profile' on the Signup page. )
Night fell, and the stars peeped out of their heavenly homes. Tilion sailed the ship of the flower of Telperion, and the nightingales began their songs as the owls started hunting. Ninglor stood alone on a hill some ways from the eaves of Mirkwood. She stared at it with eyes swollen in hate mingled with love; despair mingled with hope; and sorrow mingled with happiness.
"Why did I come back?" she asked herself. "This is not my place." She turned away, and felt the wind flow upon her face. "I must find home... but where is that? Do I know?"
No, she decided, she did not. But then she must find it. Where would she start?
Sighing once again, she closed her eyes, and whispered, "May the Valar be with me on this journey I am about to take." Another journey alone. When will this ever end?
I cannot falter now, she told herself firmly, and raised her head to the sky. "A Elbereth Gilthoniel," she whispered, and quickly flitted as a shadow among the trees.

Hm, I should like to join as well! I love a good RPG!
Name: Silvanael Species: Nandorin Elf Hair: Golden (cause apparently nandorin elves have golden hair *cough* Legolas *cough*) Eyes: Brown Weapon: an elven dirk she wears in her moccasin boot. Description: Green tunic, brown pants and cape with hood. Brown elven moccasins that reach up to her knees, and hide her secret dirk. Because she wears a hood, it is hard to tell at first that she is a girl (come on, what elf maiden would be wandering around in a tunic and pants in the middle of...wherever the characters are at the moment...i'll look that up later, heh heh....) she is short for an elf, and not very full-figured, so she pretends she's a boy most of the time. She travels at night, which helps tremendously.
BIO: Real name Silvaniel, born to Kalvorn the Spider-Trapper, the head of Spider-Trapping in Mirkwood. She has three brothers, all of whom help out in the family business of setting traps and slaying the spiders that venture too near King Thranduil's realm. Unfortunately, there is nothing so difficult to marry as a Spider-Trapper's daughter. First of all, every form of basic elven maidenness was weaned out of her at a young age, when she became accustomed to giant spiders (and rats, which were used to set the traps) not to mention her brother's rowdy, peasant-like influence on her. When she was very young, her mother decided to take a trip to the Grey Havens and ended up finding a spot on a ship to Valinor. So Silvanael's only hope of being raised to be a lady was gone. And instead, she kept house for her father and brothers until both her father and her oldest brother married decent, pretty young elf maids who found a life of Spider-Trapping to be rather exciting and interesting and romantic, and she found she wasn't needed anymore. So she put on her brother's old Spidercatching outfit (the one he used when he was the human equivilent of 12) braided her hair back and put a hood on over it, put her dirk in her moccasin, changed her name to Silvanael (a boy name) and set off for Laketown. Since then, she's meandered about looking for excitement, ways to distinguish herself, and secretly for a soulmate who found the daughter of a Spider-Trapper to be just as desirable as the daughter of an Elven Captain or a member of the White Council.

OOC: Yesh! We shall be epic and new together! *hi fives*
BIC: Silvanael eyed the two elves and their campfire closely (or as close as she could from her hiding spot a ways off in the bushes) and wondered if she should approach. "Meh. Both girls." she whispered. She didn't want to admit to herself that she was on a hormonally-driven manhunt or anything of the sort, but she would have been far more interested in the situation if there had been a handsome elf warrior in the party who wouldn't have minded getting to know her and hopefully falling in love with her and maybe marrying her and-- "No," she whispered again, stopping herself, "no distractions. Valar above, Sil, you're getting rather desperate. There's more to life than men, now go on and say hello to those two nice elven maids like a friendly, kindred wanderer (unless they've already heard your whispering), there's a good girl. Then....maybe you can ask if either has a brother." She giggled slightly, then shook her head at herself. Her sensible side, after a week of being on the road, was getting a tad weaker than the flighty, giggly, nonsensical boy-crazed side.
