How to start a contest :: MUST READ

If you are interested in starting a contest but don't know how please read the following.

There are few ways to hold a contest.

You can have a one round contest where after your specified number of entries you judge and pick the winner.

You can have a several round contest where you are the judge and remove one person from each round until there is only one person left.

You can have a one round contest where after your specified number of entries you hold a poll until a set date and after that date the one with the most votes wins.

Or you can have a several round contest where you hold a poll and the one with the least amount of votes is disqualified each round until there is one person left.

Of course for each round a new entry must be made.

Hey Fanny! You've got "avatar contest" up there twice... just to let you know... and for everyone who starts a contest, please don't forget about closing them! When you close a contest it keeps the board from getting cluttered and it also encourages more people to participate!!
