A Lord of the Rings musical...how awful...I'd probably be comparing it the movies. *shudders*- I'd hate to see how they would do the Balrog and the massive battle scenes, I think it would be a mockery of the show. About the only postive I can think of are the songs, but all the action scenes and the sets...I don't think it could be nearly as elaborate or as well done as the movies.

but really...how would they do the songs? like what songs? the poems/songs in the books? i dont know if they can turn that into a musical..b.ecause that would include dancing too...ahh! lol

I guess they would put the poems to music...not really sure how that would work, but it's the only thing I can think of.
Oh and I don't know if I would like the dancing either...what if they did "dancing" in the fight scenes like how most musicals do when they have a huge gang fight or something...how horrible.

I agree. It would be amusing for a short time, but overall it would be awful. I can't see either character doing something like that. *shudders at the thought*
Normally I like musicals, but I just don't think LOTR should be made into one...some shows are better to remain just as movies.
