Do you know the comic strip "Fox Trot"? There's a book of Fox Trot comics called "Orlando Bloom has ruined everything and it has the two boys in the front of a theater with their hobbit costumes on and the rest of the theater is filled with teenage girls with hearts in their eyes.

LOL. That is funny! I only know of a different one where a boy is analyzing Lord of the Rings, and the girl comes up saying that she only sees to for Orlando Bloom. They talk, and she later says, "Orlando Bloom is my precioussss". The boy replies, "No making Gollum jokes either." To this, the girl asks, "Who's Gollum?"
One of us should make a thread for LotR comics. There we can find pictures of these comics and post them.

Yeah, I saw that one. My favorite scenario in that comic was the argument between the LotR fan and the Harry Potter fan. (I hope I didn't offend anybody by saying H. P... I think it's kind of taboo in a place like this.)

Well Orlando Bloom is a good actor, I wouldn't say that he ruined LotR, but it attracted a lot of teeny bopper girls who had no interest in the story, just for him. And about PotC, as much as many people think that Orlando Bloom was the main character in that movie, he wasn't. It was all Johnny Depp. So for the type of role that he played, I think he did rather well in it. I agree, it was all Johnny. hah, but Orlando was pretty good in that movie. and it DID attract alot of screaming fangirls. Have any of you seen Troy? I personally didnt think much of it. |

i saw troy...i don'tthink that was his best performance..probably his worst actually. but i still enjoyed the movie. i thought orlando did amazing in ned kelly. you all should see it..great movie!

even though i'm a fan of orlando( and a big one) i'm not a crazy one lol. i loved the movie, and not just because of him. and i think i am one of the few girls who can honeslty say he was the second main character lol.

Aye Orlando Bloom is good,and attractive but he isnt the base of the movie..he is cute though heh..But I am not a crazed fan i could live without seeing him for a day.

Exactly,Publicity sometimes it distracts people from watching the movie for the move and not some overrated young actor Who probably hasnt even read the books.>.>

*laughs* Wow! This is really cool. I mean, I may joke about Orlando being the worst ever, but I don't mean it. He does a good job.
I've probably seen nearly all of his movies... hm. Let's see, LotR, PotC, Troy, KoH, Elizabethtown (I thought that was a good movie...), Ah... I don't know what else he's been in. *shrugs* But I like his role in PotC, because he's over shadowed by Johnny Depp, who is an awesome actor. I mean, in LotR, he was kind of putting most everyone else in the shadows, and in PotC fangirls have to decide who to like better there, Johnny or Orlando.
Um. I don't think that made sense even to me, but there you go.

Orlando Bloom isn't one my favorite actors, but he is one that I like. He's a really good actor, IMHO, and I blame the directors for all the lame lines that he says in The Lord of the Rings.
I really liked him in Kingdom of Heaven, and honestly, I have no idea why people don't like that movie. It's one of my favorites. In my opinion, Orlando shines in that movie. Best acting of his that I've seen yet.
Pirates of the Caribbean I don't really enjoy, so I don't watch it much, thanks to the lame plot, but I do think Orlando did a good job with the role he was given.
